War Scenes?

These battle scenes will be intense, exciting and unlike anything most of our participants have been through before. They are aimed to encourage all 'Muddy Grunts' to help each other whenever and wherever needed, similar to what our troops go through in the field. Everyone makes it back home.

We are not war mongers or lovers of war. We fully appreciate and respect those who have gone before us to fight for the freedoms we enjoy. We hope when ‘MUD AND WAR RUN’ participants experience just a hint of what our veterans have gone through, they will gain a greater appreciation for our veterans and understand a little bit more about the real experiences they have endured.

Please Note:  Not all the below mentioned war scenes will be part of your event.  The location, layout and topography will determine the type of War Scenes that will be held.

World War I

You see American Troops directing you into the trench scene. You are told to “Hold until you hear the whistle…We need reinforcements!"  As artillery fire is heard overhead the whistle shrieks above the noise and you and your fellow Muddy Grunts climb the ladders and go 'Over the Top'…A terrifying journey across 'No Man’s Land'.

World War II - D’Day Landing

You make your way into a mock D’Day Beach Landing craft.  With the engine noise in the background you wait impatiently for the door to drop to assault the beach.  Sounds of explosions and gun fire ring out around you.  The final orders are given, then the landing door drops and you have to make your way across one of the beaches of Normandy…60 seconds of mayhem, noise and adrenaline.
